A wet dip dye is a the older and most traditional method to add colour to fabric. Using this technique for a wet dip dye wedding dress means that the colour will be organically blended. I can add dip dye colour to most wedding dresses, if the fabrics and style are suitable. It works best on smaller skirts and those with light weight fabrics like chiffon, crepe and organza. I can add ombre colour to natural fibre materials most easily, but also to man-made fibres like polyester and nylon. Whether you hope for a sunset red, orange yellow, or a peacock fade from teal to purple this could take your wedding dress beyond the ordinary.
See below for a gallery of real brides in a wet dip dye wedding dress.
These dresses have all been coloured directly with my wet dip dye method. There are some limitations to the colour fades possible when using the wet dip dye technique, but I also have a spray method for more elaborate colour schemes. For more information about how your wedding dress can be coloured see my main dip dye colour page or get in touch with any questions.
