Modest bridesmaid’s alterations and bolero

modest purple bridesmaids dresses with bolero

The work I did for Ellie included modest bridesmaid’s alterations and helping to make a bolero for each maid. Ellie found bought her bridesmaids dresses from the high street. And then had the necklines extensively altered to meet the modesty standards that were important to her. The gorgeous little boleros were actually finished by Ellie’s...

Bespoke modest lace wedding dress

modest modern bespoke wedding dress with lace

I created a bespoke modest lace wedding dress for Ellie. In fact it was a dress created from the base of a shop-bought dress but with a major re-design. Ellie found a Pronovias dress in a high street shop with lace and detailing she loved but some elements of the style and particularly the neckline...

Vintage Wedding Dress Upcycle for Madelie

lace applique to customise wedding dress

Madalie came to me for a vintage wedding dress upcycle. She had her mother’s beautiful 1970’s wedding dress and she wanted to wear it, made anew, for her own wedding day. The dress Madalie brought to our consultation meeting wasn’t the right size or style for her modern wedding day. We agreed to unpick and...

Can I dye my wedding dress black?

black wedding dress for punk gothic wedding

If knowing whether or not you can dye your wedding dress black (or any other colour) is a deciding factor please see my advice. Unfortunately dyeing an already made garment is very difficult. It’s not impossible but it is very risky and the chance of a ‘perfect’ result is low. I cover ways things can...

Danielle needed my help as a wedding dress designer near London to create her a custom long sleeve bodice that would fit perfectly over her wedding dress. Vintage Restyle Maternity Wedding Dress for Sophie

Sophie and I worked to restyle her Grandmother’s vintage wedding dress into a relaxed maternity wedding dress for a modern boho bride. An exquisite creation in quite...

Organza waterfall fishtail wedding dress

custom wedding dress alteration restyle new skirt

This is Hannah’s organza waterfall fishtail wedding dress which was a ‘restyle’ rather than made from scratch. She found the almost perfect dress in a bridal boutique but brought it to me to have the skirt changed to the organza waterfall loveliness she craved. This gorgeous bespoke bronze wedding dress has gained a bit of attention recently, ever since I shared the secrets of how she fastens at the back, so I thought I'd bring her back for you to see in full. ✨

Making this dress was a dream, but nothing beats seeing how beautiful this bride looked on the day, surrounded by old stone, wild forest, and the people she loves.

Your wedding dress is about you, it's you, showing up in something that tells everyone exactly who you are. And I think this dress tells us this bride is opulent, elegant and regal. Basically? She's a queen. 👑

Getting your dress made specifically for you means you get to be really specific about how you want to look and feel on the day. Bright, modern and playful. Wild, dramatic and daring. Whatever your vibe, working with a maker who prioritises your ideas is a must.

If you're ready to take a step towards a truly bespoke bridal experience, drop me a DM. 💌

This sheer tulle overdress is embroidered from neckline to hem with wildflowers in red and lilac, trailing leaves that climb up and down from the waist like something grown, not made. Beaded droplets catch the light along every seam of the train - dew picked straight from the meadow. 🍃

A high neckline, delicate button-and-loop back, and cold-shoulder sleeves finished with beaded drops make this one for the bride who wants whimsy with a wild edge.

This is a photoshoot sample - one of a kind, in excellent condition, and listed at more than half the retail price. Worn here over an ivory slip, but this overdress can also be styled alone or with one of my dip-dye underskirts, for a pop of colour beneath the tulle.

I originally made this wedding dress for a cultural fusion styled shoot.

It's made from the fabric of two fuchsia pink lehengas, carefully disassembled and rebuilt to fit my design. It mattered to me to source genuine fabric from an Indian seller — nothing compares to the quality and detail of the real thing.

Designing this dress meant finding the perfect balance between traditional Indian textiles, British bridal silhouettes, and a few modern touches of my own. A fusion across geography and time. ✨

If there are parts of your culture and heritage you want present in your wedding dress, then drop me a message. I love cultural fusion, so getting to work with brides with varied and beautiful backgrounds is always such a pleasure.
