Rebecca wanted a whimsical bridal look fit for an elven princess. I designed a pastel rainbow ombre wedding dress in lace and organza.

Brianna commissioned a stunning autumn dip dye wedding dress for her Idaho wedding. It is copy of my best selling “Phoenix Dip Dye” wedding dress, with unique matcing accessories I made just for her. Brianna asked for a dip dye veil to echo the colours on the dress and gloves with lace detail. I first...

Dearest Gentle Reader, It has come to this author’s attention that a passionate affair took place at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, that would make even the most confident of rakes blush. Rest assured, a few were in attendance to what was a wonderful day, full of vibrancy, talent and exquisite work. Here are a few...

I’m very lucky that I attract the kind of brides who often want something that varies wildly from the traditional long white gown. So, when I met Maggie (virtually) and she told me that she was getting married in the summer and wanted something fun and bright, I was very excited! So I designed for...

I created an elopement wedding dress for this stunning mature bride, made in pale peachy pink silk satin with incredible beaded and applique tulle overlay. Silk chiffon flowers with bold colour print, pearls and glass beads fade from neckline to hem. The shape was simple and flattering, a column dress with round neckline, cap sleeves...

For this bespoke wedding dress photoshoot in Hampshire, we wanted to evoke the feeling of a fairy tale. Of a princess being whisked away by her prince, of magic, whimsy and romance. The colours we wanted to focus on were blush pink, various shades of green and deep burgundy. All inspired by the colours found...

My spouse and I booked a non-binary wedding couple photoshoot for our 14th wedding anniversary celebration. We were married in 2007 we had many happy years together as husband and wife. But in 2021 my spouse realised they were non-binary/trans. The person I had married as a man discovered their female inner self during Covid...

I designed this custom wedding dress, made in Surrey, for a spring wedding photoshoot. Along with the chic bridal separates. The shoot took place at Somersbury Barn, a beautiful oak framed barn nestled in the idyllic Surrey countryside. This gorgeous venue, complete with a stunning Victorian glasshouse was the initial inspiration for our shoot planner...

This was the first styled shoot I ever organised – but certainly not the last. I live on the border between Sussex and Surrey and as a wedding dress designer, it only made sense that I gathered together some local wedding suppliers, chose a stunning location, made some dresses and had some fun! Hence this...

For her wedding day, Katie wanted a feminine and floaty dress in layers of tulle and floral lace. And what a dress it turned out to be! It’s such a romantic wedding look, fit for a fantasy princess. The dress was made from layered silk dupion (one of my favourite fabrics to work with), rose pink...

Someone commented how much like Taylor Swift our beautiful bride @alicia.modelling_x looked wearing one of my bespoke wedding dress, and I think she`s absolutely right.
Which Taylor Swift album would you pair this wedding dress with?
A little look into my creative process for making my Swan Lake-inspired wedding dress.
I think feathers are a really underrated embellishment, so I wanted to give them their flowers 🪶💐 this corset style bodice features hundreds of hand-sewn white feathers, all meeting to a point in the middle of the chest, finished off with sparkling sequin lace.
Do you think the result was worth the effort?
And if you`re a bride looking for something full of fantasy and whimsy for your wedding, you`ve come to the right place. Making wedding outfits that look like they come from a story book is my speciality, so drop me a DM with your fairytale wedding ideas 🧚♀️

It`s coming up to five years since I first discovered aerial hoop, and my love for it is still going strong 💜
And now, I`m moving onto something even more exciting...
The next step in my journey is starting teacher training with @mybodyrocksstudio, so I can share my passion for hoop and pass on this amazing sport/art form. It`s not something I would have ever considered a possibility when I was first starting, but I`m so excited to get going!
Maybe one day I`ll be showing you the ropes (well, the hoop) 🤭
And thank you to @impulsivemomentspole for making me look like an absolute superstar 😍
Look at all that gorgeous colour!
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Here are just a few ombre wedding dresses I`ve dyed over the years, both for photoshoots and real brides. I`ve just launched a new page on my website, dedicated to my dip dye creations.
The amazing thing about dip dying is how completely customisable it is. You can go with loads of bold, bright colours, or just one subtle hue. It`s entirely up to you.
And you`re guaranteed to match your wedding`s colour scheme.
I offer two dip dye services:
- Direct dying, straight onto your wedding dress
- Dipdye tulle overskirts, leaving your dress untouched
To see more examples and options, have a look on my website (link in bio).
Which colour combination is your favourite?

I am *obsessed* with this vintage wedding dress restyle!
Merissa brought her 1990s bridal two-piece ensemble to me, looking for it to be restyled into her dream wedding dress. And we ended up with some so cute, chic and coquettish.
The bodice, with its off-shoulder neckline, didn’t change much, style-wise. We just did a few alterations to make it fit better. The skirt, however, was a different story.
The original skirt was completely deconstructed, and those panels of fabric were used to make a shorter mini skirt, gathered in at the waist and with a pleat detail at the front. Then, with extra, matched fabric, we made a new skirt for the ceremony. In the same style as short skirt, but floor length, with a train and netting underneath, for that perfect 80s/90s silhouette.
Which version do you prefer – full length skirt or miniskirt?
If you want to see how Merissa looked on the day, check out my previous post!

This outfit is such a vibe ✨️ I loved working on this vintage 90s two-piece.
If you want to see the adorable miniskirt I made to go with this wedding outfit, I`ll be posting about that next. Why not follow along for regular dose of whimsical alternative bridal inspiration for 2026?
